HAMILTON: One more way to get to one bag of garbage each week is to do what Julie does...
We empty our mini bin everyday to reduce odours. I plop the compost onto 2 sheets of newspaper and wrap it up like a parcel, folding in the corners and rolling. Then I place it in the freezer until our pick-up day so that we never get maggots and our green bin stays nice and clean.
See your waste collection calendar, go to www.hamilton.ca/waste or call 905 546-city (2489) for even more great ideas to get to one bag
